JOIN THE REVOLUTION OF SUSTAINABLE FASHION
Founded by Ali Hynek in 2013, Nena & Co. has created a space that empowers Artisans and showcases their beautiful designs around the world. We use textiles that emphasize unique hand-made creation over mass production. These techniques strip away the need for perfection, allowing for talented Artisans to express their creativity, skill, and view of the world around them.
At Nena & Co., we are able to give this time honored artistry a platform, as we offer a glimpse into their beautiful process, community, and history. We recognize the importance of high quality craftsmanship and skill, as well as the livelihood of the talented men and women who create these pieces. Artisans who work in collaboration with Nena & Co. earn a fair wage, and are provided with healthcare and scholarships. These benefits help them thrive, and encourage them to further progress in their own lives.
Aiding Artisans is our main goal at Nena & Co., and we want to be as effective as possible. By spreading our message in person and via social media, you can give others the opportunity to appreciate the tradition and talent that goes into these magnificent works of art. If you feel as passionate as we do, please share the work of these artisans and weavers. It will allow them to keep creating, and give them the means to keep their tradition alive.
MORE HUMANS, LESS MACHINES
Nena & Co. forgoes big machinery and typical manufacturing methods in order to minimize our carbon footprint. We employ more humans and less machines to create our textiles.
PRIDE IN OUR PROCESS
We take pride in our process and in preserving our culture. Nena & Co. has created a space that empowers women and artisans around the world, giving the artisans an opportunity to fully embrace their culture and keep the dying art of weaving alive. Nena & Co. products are made by women for women.
